ESL Assignment 1

Dear Mathayom Students:


We know that you all must be bored with this flood and eager to return to school.  To keep you academically active, we created lessons that you can study on-line.  This set of assignment not only strengthen your English proficiency, but also gives you some valuable thoughts and ideas for other works you have to carry out this semester.  The due date is 24 November 2011 (postponed from 21 Nov.11).


Please go to your grade assignment:


Grades 7 and 8:  

1. Read about Pecha-Kucha presentation and watch the clip prepared for G.7 and G.8
2. Then go to the bottom of the page, click the assignment for G.7 and G.8.  You must read the instruction carefully before starting your work.
3. Do your best to answer the questions.  Feel free to go back to the clip, repeat it as many times as you wish, try to capture the key words will help.

*** Because you cannot paste your slides in the answer sheet, students who come to answer question 6 (... modifying 3 slides) can make and attach your new slides in an e-mail and send to Teacher Nick Charanvattanakit <supernick213@gmail.com>,  Teacher Apple <saparamdacha_11@yahoo.com>, Teacher Robert <r_t_02@hotmail.com>, or Teacher Dhon <dhon63@gmail.com>. 

Grades 9 and 10:

2. Then go to the bottom of the page, click the assignment for G.9 and 10.
3. You must read the instruction carefully before starting your work.

Grades 11 and 12:  

1. Go to this page about a speech given by Professor Hans Rosling on Global Population Growth.  Watch the first clip, then the second clip.  
2. Next, go to the bottom of the page, click the What does Hans Rosling Tell You?
3. You must read the instruction carefully before starting your work.
4. Do your best to answer the questions.  Feel free to go back to the clip, repeat it as many times as you want, try to capture the key words will help.
